ZBA Meetings are scheduled only as needed, and ONLY Approved Minutes may be posted.
ZBA Meetings notices are posted at least 15 days before their date.  Check the homepage for meeting notices.

The ZBA is a quasi-judicial board with the power to grant variances to the requirements of the Lincoln Township Zoning Ordinance #44 upon findings of certain facts and/or condition that exist. The Zoning Ordinance provides for three areas of Appeal:
  • An appeal of an administrative decision, as defined in the Zoning Ord. #44, Article 8, Section 8.5
  • A use or area (dimensional) variance, as defined in the Zoning Ord. #44, Article 8, Section 8.7
  • An interpretation of the Zoning Map or Zoning Ordinance text, as defined in the Zoning Ord. #44, Article 8, Section 8.6

The ZBA meets at least one time annually for the purpose of selecting from its membership a Chair, Vice-Chair and Secretary and to tend to any other business as may be necessary, such as updating the ZBA Bylaws and Rules of Procedure.

The ZBA meets on the 2nd Wednesday of each month as necessary, at 7PM at the Township Hall located at 175 Lake George Ave., Lake George, Michigan. Applications for Variance, must be submitted no less than 60 days prior to the meeting at which you desire it to be considered.
